Lucas Abillah is a Safety, Health, and Environment expert based in Kenya. He holds a Master of Science in Occupational Health and Safety, BSc. In Environmental Conservation and Natural Resources Management, and a Certificate in Monitoring & Evaluation. He is also trained and


competent in ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and Work at Height.

He is a licensed Environmental Impact Assessment and Audit expert registered by the National Environment Management Authority (Reg. No. 10602), a member of the Workplace Safety Professional Association of Kenya, Environmental Institute of Kenya, Commercial Aquaculture Society of Kenya (CASK), and Climate Business Information Network of Kenya (CBIN-K).

He has over 5 years’ cumulative experience in organizational safety management, environmental management and compliance, and aquaculture systems management. Before joining Livingwood, he worked for Viscar Industrial Capacity Limited, Farm Africa, Eco Hub Consultants Ltd, Msingi, Pioneer, Aquaculture Business Development Program (ABDP), and Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Project (KCSAP).


Kevin Okoth Ouko

Kevin Okoth Ouko is a Research and Policy Analyst based in Kenya. He holds an Msc. in Agricultural and Applied Economics of Egerton University, Kenya/ University of Pretoria, South Africa, and a B.Sc. in Agricultural Economics of Egerton University. Kevin is currently pursuing a PhD in Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture.


His area of policy analysis, research and publications is majorly on: food security, climate change, aquaculture, agriculture value chains analysis, livelihoods and employment, finance, gender and youth dynamics, and impact evaluation. Kevin was previously a part-time lecturer of agricultural economics and agribusiness with a cumulative experience of 4 years in various universities in Kenya. He has experience in producing high quality written proposals, policy briefs, grants, technical notes, reports and academic papers for scientific and non-scientific audiences, as evidenced by his strong publication record in ISI-indexed journals. His wealth of experience has been accumulated while working with diverse teams, consultancy projects and institutions including: Jesuit Justice and Ecology Network Africa (JENA), Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI), World Fish, Maseno University, Kibabii University, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST), Laikipia University and Egerton University.


Victor Odhiambo

Victor Odhiambo is a holder of Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Community Development Option from Moi University and certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from Philanthropy University and Kenya Institute of Management. He currently pursues a master of arts in research and public policy at Maseno University.


He served Civic Education and Development in Africa as Project Officer and Program manager between 2015 and 2019 and is currently serving SADES-K Project working under KASH Consortium as project officer and M&E support staff. His experience cuts across project management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Community mobilization, Youth Development and Human rights.


Anton Opar

Anton Opar has wealth of experience in the production of Dairy, Goat, Sheep, Poultry, vegetable, Aquaculture, crop protection and farm economics. With a Diploma in Farm Management and 7 years in active agricultural extension work, he has worked with various organizations including Lake Basin Development Authority, Phililane Farm and Farm Africa spearheading agricultural projects
